How will you add value on a day-to-day basis?
Full Stack Developer will work on projects where person will play an active role in developing software enhancements and new products for the Servicing platforms. A vigilant developer. Candidate will work on the planning, designing and coding of enhancements for our current offerings & will also work with cross-functional teams to build software solutions for current issues or to incorporate advancements in technology. Always searching to continuously improve Worldpay's catalogue of products and services, we will create and maintain stable, reliable systems for our clients and partners.

What will make you the ideal candidate?

• Strong expertise with: Java; designing and testing software for functionality, scalability, and reliability; Continuous Delivery; strong knowledge of build tools and best practices; Agile DevOps environments; advocates INVEST principles
• Proficiency with SQL, relational data modelling, and basic database schema design
• Develop in a test-driven manner; from acceptance testing to unit and integration
• Adhere to clean code principles, and mentor others
• Have a strong knowledge of software architecture and industry design patterns
• Maintain the level of reliability required from a high-volume, high-availability platform
• Support deployment of new features into production with zero platform downtime and no impact to end customers that are currently processing
• Collaborate with other teams (Product Management, Enterprise Architecture, Merchant Services, Support and so on) to define success criteria, establish priorities and distill business requirements into technical solutions
• Ability to plan baseline and peak capacity to ensure economic service provision with a 5 9s expectation in Cloud environments
• Strong adherence to Extreme Programming (XP) practices
• Have a strong sense of team over self
• Practice continuous improvement, reducing waste in ways of working
• Experience with Linux/ Unix; Amazon Web Services (AWS); Cassandra and Oracle; RESTful API design (HATEOAS); Maven, Gradle, SBT, Webpack or Grunt; engineering software releases for cloud deployment; Angular, React, Spring, Play or Akka frameworks; Kubernetes, Docker, Terraform, Ansible; JavaScript or TypeScript; Android or iOS; UX (user experience) design, Responsive Design
