Sector exposure:
Must: - Water, sewage project experience, Experience in construction/PMC/IE of sewage treatment plant, water supply, water treatment, laying large diameter (500mm and above) of MS/DI transmission/gravity pipeline, infrastructure and civil engineering.
In-depth knowledge of MJP, PWD, central and various state DSRs and estimation of project components.

PMC/IE role
1. Planning, scheduling and helping client to implement construction programs to complete the project in time.
2. To scrutinise and helping for approve the detailed schedule for commissioning of the various works, equipment and the whole integrated facility, submitted by the Contractor/Operator in consultation with the Client. This schedule will cover the checks/tests/ inspection proposed, and the target dates for completion.
3. To scrutinise and helping for approve the detailed design and drawing for commissioning of the various works, submitted by the Contractor/Operator in consultation with the Client. This schedule will cover the checks/tests/inspection proposed, and the target dates for completion.
4. To study & review the Hydraulic and process designs and drawings submitted by the contractor/operator/client.
5. Daily monitoring of work and report progress of project to management.
6. Preparation of periodic reports relating to time, cost and quality including verification of bills.
7. Review of drawing schedule and follow up with the concerned project engineer designated by the client for all schedules and related matters.
8. Witnessing the quality test to be conducted for all materials, equipment, bot out materials, finished concrete etc. and
9. Maintain the registers for mandatory tests to be conducted for all materials before incorporation in work. The guidelines may be taken from the officer designated by the client regarding the registers to be maintained.
10. Inspect and approve the materials at site as per specifications before they are used in work
11. Attend periodic site meetings / meetings in client office and discuss site conditions bottlenecks faced likely hindrances, time overruns, cost overruns and any other important matter along with solutions proposed.
12. Submission of periodic reports concerning quality standard and progress of the project.
13. To carry out detailed inspection on completion of project/works and get rectified all defects noticed during inspection. PM will also carry out detailed inspection during defects liability period and get rectified all defects noticed during such inspection before the end of defects liability period.
14. Documentation of all project related matters, including minutes of different meetings and circulation of such records to team.
15. To Study all drawings, Contract Agreement, Specifications etc. and ensure implementation at site as per it.
16. To physically verify all dimensions of the works at site and ensure that they are as per drawings. Discrepancies shall be notified to client/operator immediately.
17. PM will be responsible for overall monitoring of the construction works and should be available at site EVERYDAY for supervision & coordination of site work with the operator/client and Contractors.
18. PM will be responsible to supervise the day to day works like earth work, PCC, RCC, brick masonry, joinery, floorings and all Civil, pipe line laying, Pumping Machinery and Electrical works (Internal and External), Mechanical works, instrumentation, control & SCADA and all other allied items.
19. Preparation & Submission of detailed schedules technical formats for inspection and testing of materials, indicating the test/inspections procedures and applicable acceptance limits at works/test house and site for materials and equipment well in advance and get approved from the Client where necessary. Monitor the quality of the work and control the quality as per specification, relevant codes and as per sound engineering practices.
20. To co-ordinate between the operator and client in all matters relating to the work.
21. Any other construction management task not specifically mentioned but relevant to the realization of the project.
22. Set expectations & manage the project team, with a technical depth and breadth that understand the client/projects.
Techno-commercial role
1. Preparation of project concept notes, project information brochures, monthly reports along with progress of work.
2. Conduct valuation of completed work for the project.
3. Conduct environmental impact studies related to wastewater collection, treatment, or distribution.
4. Analyse costing, pricing
5. Billing and revenue collection from client
6. Assistance on technical side for tendering process of the client.
Technical assistance in consultancy business development
1. Contribution of technical approach and methodology in proposals
2. Estimation of technical man-days at various levels, project schedule of consulting assignments
3. Raising technical queries with respect to sewage project tender documents
4. Identification of technical scope related risks in a tender.
5. Identification of eligibility/qualification gaps and suggest alliances.
6. Work seamlessly with consulting alliance partner
7. Meeting (especially government) to demonstrate organizations technical skills in consulting
Knowledge domain and skills
1. Acts and regulation on waste water sector, water pollution
2. Waste water sector national and international institutes, bodies, conferences, exhibitions, events, directories
3. Waste water sector Indian and major international players
4. Water, waste water related programs and schemes of governments at various levels
5. Long experience of water, Wastewater & reuse project
6. Sewage treatment technologies
7. Understanding of all sewage quality specifications in detail
8. Knowledge of clearances and permissions for waste water projects
9. Excellent relationships in the industry with government clients, private developers and other stakeholders
10. Primavera, MSP have additional advantage
Leadership and Team Work
1. Provide technical direction or supervision to junior engineers, engineering or computer-aided design (CAD) technicians, or other technical personnel.
2. Manage a team of 4-5 Engineers and their sub-ordinates
3. Training the engineers and BD/transaction advisory staff on sewage.
4. Organize and mobilize the technical manpower prudently across projects to optimize deliver schedules and work-life balance of staff.
5. Be responsible for pre-determined/on the spot client schedule/meetings
6. Building sewage team with new additions, retention with the help of management.
7. Good communication skills and good degree of communication in reality

Profile of the candidate
1. Education: BE/B Tech or ME/M Tech or equivalent in Civil Engg or Environmental Engg or equivalent
2. He or she should have minimum 12-15 years relevant experience.
3. Excellent knowledge of Windows/ MS office/internet /primavera/MSP/mobile use is a must
4. Indian candidates only
5. Sound mathematical, logical, spatial, linguistic, temporal capacity in management of work
