Job Description
- Lead highly complex network design operations. Provide network configuration support and document client requirements
- Work with clients to ensure that data flow diagrams are accurately completed to provide network connectivity.
- Work with infrastructure solutions architects to enhance, scale and overhaul the network strategy to support cutting edge application deployments solutions like Kubernetes and containers
- Automation - Streamline repeatable build and operational support practices that scale with technology changes.
- Develop network high availability and DR plans to meet the requirements of critical applications.
- Utilize approved tools to verify and take required action on events aggregated from network monitoring tools and Web Application Firewall
- Map network layouts and configure systems to user environments.
- Drive adoption of standard operational practices to deliver highly available solutions.
- Design and implement security solutions including security benchmarks and auditing
- Provide technical leadership and recommendation into the future direction of database technology
- Lead or participate in network management and maintenance activities with Cloud providers like Google
- Experience with Network infrastructure and cloud networking is a must
- Experience supporting network operations on cloud platform like Google/AWS/Azure etc
- 8+ years of experience in managing, supporting and maintenance of network infrastructure datacenter/cloud
- Experience with Ansible/Shell/Python scripting for databases patching and maintenance automation
- Experience with disaster recovery strategies (including hands-on backup and recovery experience)
- In-depth understanding of HA/DR strategies
