Position Purpose:
Shall implement Sodexo HSE process to provide safe and secured environment at all locations of client.
Responsible for implementation, control, staff training & maintaining of relevant HSE records in accordance with CLIENT safety & environmental requirements.
KEY ACCOUNTABILITY
Office Safety, Incident Investigation & Safety Inspections
Conduct Occupational Safety inspection/Audits as per SOP & Formats. Report non conformances, safety issues & hazards. Communicate monthly HSE report.
Deployment Sodexo Safety net
Investigate and report immediately to Project Lead in writing all near misses, accidents, incidents and unsafe acts occurred at the job site. Perform root cause analysis & investigation jointly with operations to ascertain the risks & recommend corrective & preventive actions.
Maintain all HSE related manuals/procedures/records. Check Availability of First aid box /medical support to the injured personnel.
Coordinate and monitor the implementation of the requirements of Safety Management Plan & Environmental controls as per CLIENT policies.
Detect, identify, analyze and recommend actions / solutions to eliminate recognized hazardous acts, conditions, behaviors and violations.
Maintain record of PPE/ Equipments and tools inspection / testing certificates.
Ensure safety practices such as work permit system, use of PPE, LOTO etc as per the SOP are being followed including those for the contractors & report any non-conformances to the FM.
Make sure that the client safety procedures are fully complied & all documentation is maintained as per the requirements.
Coordinate with Contractors/ building maintenance & FM for regular inspection testing & maintaining of fire protection, detection & safety devises such as extinguishers, smoke detectors & fire panel. Report serious deviations & issues immediately to the FM & take follow up actions.
Train the procedures of Emergency Response/Damage Control to team Sodexo as per client requirements in Emergencies.
Ensure compliance with all the HSE Processes and Formats as required / documented for the sites.
Perform safety inspection & review safety parameters for all contractors including activity such as driving, confined space entry or those involved with electrical, mechanical maintenance & non routine activities at site.
Carry out site specific risk assessment along with mitigation plan
Regular checking of tools, PPE's safety provisions at sites to be performed & reported in a predefined format.
2. Perform Staff Training & develop safety awareness
Conduct trainings/daily briefing / weekly safety toolbox talks to promote safety awareness within the staff.
Carry out HSE Induction training to all new staff. Dissimilate / impart safety & environmental awareness through QMHSE boards, Posters, sinages & communication.
Carry out Induction of Drivers and new staff. Provide appropriate training & information about emergency practices & protocol to Sodexo Staff.
Brief safety Alerts/news letters and other Safety related communications.
- Coordinate / Conducting Mock drill on fire fighting & building evacuation to entire staffKEY ACCOUNTABILITY
- Daily briefing and review with the mobile technician to set the tempo and focused approach for the day.
- Review the daily reports, analyze the daily consumption pattern for Engineering consumables, utilities, issues, take up corrective and preventive steps by delegating the same to the team.
- Assign technicians to filed based PM requirement
- Coordinating client production team and client SPOC for repairs that affect normal production with the help of internal team or external vendors as applicable.
- Facilitate effective planning and implementation of all electrical, water, other service outages and scheduled shutdowns.
- Daily meeting with Project Lead to facilitate structured approach to address routine issues, works or initiatives.
- Preparation and consolidation of MIS reports - monthly and annual reports, which shall also include team's performance, budgets and project status.
- Maintain statutory compliance reports in updated condition.
- Conducts performance reviews of team members and gives them periodic feedback.
- Ensure team morale by fair rewards and recognition programs.
- For all purchases such as materials or equipments, prepare a proper business case to ensure effectiveness of expenditure as per Budget.
- During evacuations, assists emergency response teams in assessing building condition, locating missing personnel, shutting off utilities, and delivering a status report to the Chief Fire Marshall.
- Ensure safe work environment at all outlets
- Prepare appropriate risk assessment and mitigation plan for all out lets
- Ensure suitable safety culture with mobile team.
- Ensure adherence to contractual obligations, policies and procedures
- Responsible for training replacement of the staff.
- Ensure adherence to contractual obligations, policies and procedures.
- All Statutory Compliances to be adhered
- All Equipment Health check to be carried out on a monthly basis
- Ensure the Equipment up & running 100%
- Waste management (hazard, e-waste and hazardous water) as per the compliances
- Fire safety compliances to be monitored and adhered
- Fortnightly electrical safety rounds to be carried out and CAPA to be prepared
