Job Description
- Associate Min. 12 months of AR follow up experience preferably in Hospital if not, physician RCM
- Sr. Associate Min. 30 months of AR follow up experience preferably in Hospital if not, physician RCM
- SME Min. 5 years experience in Hospital/Physician billing with correlation of functions & end to end cycle
Job Specifications
Skills / Competencies:
- Knowledge in liaising with healthcare insurance companies on behalf of health system/providers and follow up on outstanding AR
- Ability to analyze 835, 277 claim response and take necessary action
- Ability to deflect calls by proper review and analysis of claims
- Knowledge in writing appeals to payers and following thru appeals process
- Prioritize pending claims from aging basket and follow up at regular intervals to collect outstanding
- Resolve accounts to get paid with max 2 touches
- Check for appropriateness of insurance information and follow up with patient on a need basis
- Escalate difficult collection situations to management in timely manner
- Strong familiarity with RCM medical billing and collection practices
- Identify trends & patterns for better resolving of accounts and generate payments in bulk
- Perform job duties in accordance with productivity requirements and quality standards.
- Communication English: Verbal, written and comprehension with email etiquettes
- Comprehension - US accent, knowledge and process flow
- Co-relation of US geography, time zones, work hours
Technical competencies:
- Typing speed of min of 35 WPM
- MS Excel
- Communication over Webinar (MS Teams/GTM/Zoom etc.) /tools like Skype etc.
Educational qualification: Graduate (Must)
Shift Hours: Indian Night shift (US day hours any time zone)
