Job Description

Roles and Responsibilities

• Finalize long term plans for PE function, in line with organizational objectives
• Finalize annual plans and budget for PE function
• Regularly monitor target achievement and budget utilization for PE function
• Process design and process engineering for new product introduction or capacity enhancement covering manufacturing/ quality/ maintenance
• Research on the production floor to create strategic plans that eliminate the inefficiencies through application of Low cost automation & TIE management.
• Facility management to meet companys present/future PQDCME goals to have flexible, scalable & modular manufacturing facilities setup
• Conduct feasibility study for new projects with viability as per company norms
• Introduction of new equipment which results into operational excellence by efficient plant design
• Participation in procurement process / Capex for purchase of new equipment / machines as per engineering / process requirement.
• Ensuring to draw machine/equipment specification sheet specifying technical requirements and its deliverable.
• Undertake long term, medium term capacity planning, expansion and optimization across all plants
• DVP approvals, pre inspection of equipments, installation & commissioning
• Management of TIE standards and routing sheets for all plants
• Productivity improvements in all plants through industrial engineering & low cost automation
• Compliance to existing standards and up gradation of standards based on internal/ external bench marking
• Ensure training & development of team members
• Identification of critical positions in function and ensure the grooming of successor for each critical position
• Resource planning and development and support problem solving on current /potential issues.
