Job Description
Work effectively with business units to facilitate building and expanding vulnerability management capabilities to support new deployment efforts, vulnerability scanning and vulnerability remediation/mitigation.
Hiring, training, staff development, performance management, to effectively grow the skills and capabilities of the vulnerability management team.
Assesses, streamlines and develops comprehensive Vulnerability Management and Security programs.
Prioritizes vulnerabilities for remediation action and collaborates with appropriate team members across the organization to implement.
Uses technologies such as Bigfix, Nexpose, Qualys, TripWire, Tanium, Veracode, Whitehat or similar technologies.
Contributes to the ongoing enhancement of the companys security assessment capabilities through the development and implementation of improved methodology, processes, infrastructure, tools and deliverables.
Provide expertise and guidance in managing and configuring the enabling technology platforms for the team;
Configure and conduct external and internal vulnerability management scanning services across traditional data center environment and cloud hosted solutions;
Lead the team in analyzing vulnerability scan results, identifying vulnerability patterns, and partners with business technology teams to define and execute streamlined processes to remediate vulnerable systems across the estate;
Inspire change across the enterprise to drive a more responsible and accountable culture for improving the security posture;
Help drive strategic direction of the program while providing technical remediation guidance to the various technology groups, across various business units;
Monitor and assess developments in the threat and vulnerability landscape, proactively
providing security advisories to relevant stakeholders;
Experience acting as change agent, driving continuous improvement and excellence
