You should excel in working with global stakeholders and have outstanding communication and leadership skills and report to Project Manager/Delivery Manager.
What You'll Do
We are looking for a Technical Lead (full-stack Java/Spring/node.js/React) to join our Engineering team.
- Building and maintaining the common libraries, SDKs, and relevant documentation
- Lead, coach team members, provide design solutions to teams, review the deliverables
- Developing and maintaining highly re-usable centralised UI component library and style guides
- Helping teams adopt and contribute to common tooling, frameworks, and seed repositories
- Gathering input, ideas, and perspectives from developers, designers, and product managers across the organisation to identify opportunities for improvement, collaboration, and impact.
- Establishing processes and techniques for effectively sharing and versioning libraries and components across teams and products
- Use technology to solve business problems and drive positive outcomes
- Build a scalable technology platform to support a growing business
- Deliver high-quality code to production, consistently
- Building micro-services using Java, Spring Boot
- Write crisp, concise, clear and structured Java code with best practices
- Integration with various third-party systems.
- Experience of development of front-end/back-end applications, leading a team.
- Working with global teams
Who You Are?
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science (or related field) with 8+ years of developing experience
- Proficient in building full-stack applications on Java, Spring Boot, Micro-Services, React, Google Cloud or AWS
- Experience working in highly collaborative teams
- Familiarity or experience in maintaining style guides through tools such as Storybook
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills for conveying complex technical concepts, architecture, and technical strategy to other teams and leadership.
- Ability to demonstrate a team-first attitude towards software development
- Experience designing/developing scalable systems
- Event-driven architecture and messaging frameworks (Pub/Sub, Kafka, and/or RabbitMQ)
- Experience with, or willingness to learn:
- Frontend development using modern JavaScript
- Mature engineering practices (CI/CD, testing, secure coding, etc.)
- Experience with Go, Python, and/or Node.js a plus
- Experience working with various data stores: SQL, NoSQL, and/or key-value store a plus
