Job Description
A technically oriented team player whose main tasks are:
- Develop features in Matlab and Simulink environment for the PC based SIL validation of Active Safety features of vehicle using Virtual test drive tools like CarMaker, CarSim etc.
- Develop new simulation methods and tools based on MATLAB to reduce the usage of real vehicles for Active safety feature validations.
- Work closely with CAE team, Function owners & System development teams and develop simulation environments to validate the various active safety features in Simulink environment.
- Work closely with OEMs and deliver the simulation environments as per the requirements.
Requirements
- Strong understanding in Matlab, Simulink and Vehicle dynamics.
- Hands-on experience in development of Simulink models and Matlab scripts.
- Awareness on CarMaker, CarSim, and Simulink S-functions is an additional advantage.
- Hands on experience on ASCET and C Programming would be desirable.
- Prior experience/know how on Active safety systems such as ABS, ESP etc. is an additional advantage.
- Experience in handling Software development life cycle.
- Ability to collaborate with architects, experts, developers and end users for understanding the requirements.
- Worked with Configuration management tools like SVN, ALM etc.
- Strong debugging skills in Matlab & Simulink.
- Willingness to provide hands on guidance to the project teams as part of steering the projects forward.
- Excellent Communication and Interpersonal skills.
- Excellent documentation skills.
- Independent, solution oriented method of working.
