Job Description
Immediate opening for AWS DevOps Engineer in MNC @Mumbai
Location : SEEPZ,Andheri
Experience 3+ Years
Job Details:
1. Specific responsibilities include:
A. Design, implement, and execute Backup and Recovery and Business Continuity processes and automate the same;
B. Design, implement, and execute security standards and automate the same;
C. Monitor environments for security vulnerabilities and take actions to remediate and/or mitigate risks;
d. Perform troubleshooting and root cause analysis;
e. Monitor applications and services within the environment, take actions to resolve issues and implement strategies to prevent future occurrences;
f. Monitor AWS maintenance and outages, assess impact, and develop strategies to minimize impact;
g. Create and follow up on AWS support tickets.
h. Write and maintain clear, concise documentation, runbooks and operational standards including infrastructure diagrams, deployment diagram etc.
2. Required Candidate profile
Essential Requirements
a. Strong AWS experience especially in the following services (VPC, EC2, IAM, CloudFormation, S3, RDS, Route53, Security);
b. Strong Linux & Windows experience;
c. Strong networking experience;
d. Strong networking and systems security background;
e. Experience deploying and managing Kubernetes cluster deployments preferably within AWS;
f. Strong background in Devops related practices such as CI/CD, infrastructure automation, and infrastructure as code;
g. Experience with the following development and Devops related tools: Git, Jenkins, Bitbucket;
h. Experience with monitoring tools, such as Grafana, Nagios, NewRelic, AWS CloudWatch, AWS ELK etc.
i. Experience with Azure and/or Amazon cloud technologies.
j. Teamwork and communication skills.
k. AWS Certifications such as AWS Certified Solutions Architect, SysOps Administrator, Developer, etc.;
l. Possess any other cloud related certifications Microsoft Certified Solutions Associate (MCSA) or Expert (MCSE) in Cloud Platform or Cloud Platform and Infrastructure
m. Scripting experience especially in bash, powershell, groovy and python;
n. Strong knowledge and understanding of CI/CD processes and tools (Jenkins, Bamboo)
o. Prior experience using automation tools (Terraform, CloudFormation, ARM, Ansible, HashiCorp Packer, Puppet, Chef)
p. Knowledge of Docker containers and related orchestration including AWS EKS and ECS
q. Familiar with the fundamentals of web application and relational database architectures
r. Understanding of agile and other development processes and methodologies
s. Understanding of immutable infrastructure and infrastructure as code concepts
t. Good communication skills and ability to work with global teams to define and deliver on projects Intellectual curiosity, passion for technology and keeping up with new trends
