Preferred experience for the role:More than 3 years of experience in Medidata Rave Custom Function Programming

Responsibilities

• Review protocol and study related documents/Specifications to gain understanding of trial required.
• Review Data Validation specification document, CRFs /eCRF, other necessary documents to gain understanding of required CF program build.
• Perform classification of checks into edit checks or the need to write a custom function program and code review activities.
• Perform CF Programming activities and deliver error free quality deliverables in accordance with regulatory standards, within required timelines.
• Program, Test and Document dynamics checks and CF checks as per study requirement with best programming standards and practices.
• Build study database using Custom Functions programs for dynamic conditions along with CF validation and derivation checks using Medidata Rave, this includes Support and debugging of failing Cfs
• Communicate any errors/warnings and work on resolution to issues.
• Perform Database Design activities including eCRF creation within required timelines, if required

Rave Programmer JD

• To perform a wide range of Clinical Data Management activities resulting in high quality database within stipulated timelines.
• To provide expertise in programming concepts to the Data Management team

The following duties and responsibilities generally reflect the expectations of this position but are not intended to be all inclusive.

1. Perform and/or initiate comprehensive data management tasks, pertaining to Data base design, programming, Validation and Data transfers
2. Perform quality control procedures for Database Design and Database Programming.
3. Assist in developing and implementing new technology in Database Design.
4. Provide Clinical Data Management team with technical expertise
5. Develop and maintain good communications and working relationships with CDM team.
6. Review the contract, protocol and any other customer specifications for implementing any client specifications
7. Perform tasks/activities as communicated by TL/LDM
8. Create/review the Data Management Plan documents
9. Attend telephone conferences/meetings as required
10. Adherence to SOPs/Regulatory requirements/project specific guidelines
11. Escalation of identified unresolved issues to Lead Data Manager on time
12. Provide inputs/status reports on monthly basis during the tenure of life cycle of the project
13. Training: Train the team DB specifications
