Job Description
- Oversee planning and development of our high-quality software, on-time and to customer expectations
- Assist our frontend and backend devs with complex tasks
- Collaborate with Developers, QA, and non-tech team leaders across the business to develop a long-term product plan and help manage release cycles
- Be a source of advice and guidance to our growing team
- Work with management to scope the required resources and timelines to meet project timelines with quality results
- Build report interfaces and data feeds as well as oversee infrastructure and architecture.
- Put the tools in place to keep our product reliable and to continue to raise our high-quality standard to meet our customer needs
- Be a thought leader and a good people manager to develop the great team we have at hand
- Project manager our architectural development and other bigger project needs
Who we are looking for:
- A Bachelor/masters degree in Engineering/Computer Science and/or Ph.D. and/or equivalent work experience. Experience in early-stage start-ups is preferred.
- A great leader that can see the overall picture and communicate a vision to its team.
- A team player with a problem-solving attitude and a sense of ownership and pride in your performance and its impact on the companys success
- An innovator and visionary using your skills, and experience in executing our vision by collaborating on setting the product roadmap and tech strategy to scale up and delivering high-impact solutions.
- Adept at ideation, designing, architecting, and building core Enterprise products.
- Strong experience in Open Source and Web technologies, building highly distributed and scalable systems, which are easily maintainable.
- Experience with full-stack web/desktop application development with different of languages and frameworks including Python Django and React, CSS and HTML
- 7+ years of experience with React or other Javascript frameworks, CSS, HTML, and Django framework.
- Strong experience with relational databases MySQL/PostgreSQL and demonstrated experience with Azure (or similar) in a production environment, using Docker, as well as building APIs
- Fluent in English (written and oral) Fluency in a second language is preferred.
- Comfortable working remotely with great communication skills for a remote work environment.
