Job Description

Responsibilities for Design Engineer

• Preparation of layout drawings and working drawings in CAD after studying the the design requirements of the project.
• Preparation of BOQ's for purpose of costing at the time of bidding.
• Making shop drawings for plumbing and electrical work to be carried out at site.
• Support the project teams with design solutions to successfully execute the project in the shortest possible time.
• Calculating the qty of work done from a drawing for billing purpose.
• Coordinate with other departments when required for smooth working.

Qualifications for Design Engineer

• Experience in piping and electrical drawings.
• Excellent experience with designing using 2D & / or 3D CAD
• Ability to read and understand civil and MEP drawings
• Ability to work with various departments to facilitate the orderly execution of a project.
• Extensive knowledge and experience working with various operating systems including microsoft XL
• Proper knowledge of communication including email and good communication skills.
• Good written and spoken english for communicating with clients when required.
