Roles and Responsibilities
1. Monitoring and Managing the usage of system storage
2. Creating primary database storage structures and Monitoring the same (Creating primary objects (tables, views, indexes) on requirement
3. Monitoring the Table Space Utilization, Audit table, System Table and Users tables Utilization etc
4. Monitoring and optimizing the performance of the database.
5. Generating the AWR, ADDM and ASH reports for performance related issues.
6. Installation of Oracle standalone database and Oracle grid cluster ware database on Linux OS.
7.Installation, Configuration,Administration and Patching of Oracle Databases and Oracle Applications.
8.Upgrades, Migrationsand Patching of Oracle Databases in different operating systems.
9. Converting ASM to non ASM environment.
10. Enrolling users and maintaining system security.
11. Controlling and monitoring user access to the database.
12. Planning for backup and recovery of database.
13. Maintaining archived data on tape.
14. implementingHot, cold and RMAN backupsand performance tuning ofSQLstatements
15. Backing up and restoring the database using RMAN utility.
16. Creating Oracle databases frequently in UAT/DEV/Pre-Prod environment.
17. Managing the database's storage structures.
18. Managing users and security.
19. Managing schema objects, such as tables, indexes, and views.
20. Proactively monitoring the database's health and taking preventive or corrective action as required.
21. Managing and monitoring the alert logs, trace files, rman logs, grid logs, archive logs etc.
22. Backup and Restore using export/import utility
23. Managing and monitoring the ASM storage space and related issues.
24. Managing and monitoring the RAC environment
25. Generating the Daily reports, Weekly reports and monthly reports for DB servers resource utilization
26. Supporting/Resolving for Application version releases and issues
27. Troubleshooting the Database issues
28. Resolving issue of oracle databases daily basic.
29. Adding the ASM DISK storage when it is necessary.
30. Checking regularly listener. ora and tnsnames. ora on database level.
31. Refresh the database as schema level, table level and rows level.
Desired Candidate Profile
Skill: Oracle Database Administration, RMAN Backups, RAC Environment, Installation, Configuration of Database, Backup & Recovery of Database etc.
Location: Rajaji Nagar, Bangalore
Experience: 1-3 year
Qualification: B.E/B.Tech/M.Sc./ MCA/ Graduates(Electronics & Communication
/Computer science/IT) (Min 1 Yrs required) /Diploma(3 Exp required)
