Job Description
:Required Skills:
o Write effective and scalable code in Ruby.
o Build back-end components for web applications.
o Test applications for performance, responsiveness and security.
o Review and debug junior developers code.
o Integrate data storage and data processing solutions.
o Create automated test scripts.
o Improve and maintain applications after deployment.
o Coordinate with team members who work on different layers of infrastructure
Roles & Responsibilities:
o Individual contributor, delivering high quality solutions that address business requirements.
o Conduct, manage, and enforce code reviews.
o Provide solutions to foundational and cross-team technical challenges.
o Conduct technical and feature risks assessments and communicate to the architecture and product management groups.
o Provide troubleshooting and root cause analysis for issues that are escalated by the team.
o Understands and influences the vision and overall strategy.
o Creates proper unit, integration and system level tests.
o Work with Architects to ensure proper solution based on the established architectural principles and patterns.
o Work with development teams in an agile context as it relates to software development, including test driven development, sprint planning, and meeting commitments. Education:
o Bachelor/Masters degree in computer science, Engineering or a related subject
