We have immediate opening for Sr. System Engineer - Infrastructure Support
Exp : 4 to 10 Years
Designation :Sr. System Engineer
Job Location : Seepz,Andheri
Skills Required :
- ITIL v3/v4 framework
- AWS Certified Associate - SysOps Administrator, Infra Monitoring,
- Datacenter Operations (SOC - Security operations control & NOC - Network operations control)
- Remote monitoring tools, scripting
- Database monitoring, backups & restore tasks
- Troubleshooting on Windows, Linux platforms & AWS Cloud services
- AWS cloud practitioner / domain knowledge on AWS services
- Service Level Agreement adherence
- Ticketing system work-flow for Incident, Problem & Change management
- Softskills for interacting with international client-base
- Reporting & triaging incidents (outages, security & performance issues) with respective teams and relevant stakeholders
Job Responsibilities:
- SLA driven application & production environment up-keeping in 24x7 rotational shift.
- Thorough knowledge on all the Windows Server & Linux operating platforms, Webservers Apache, Nginx & IIS, AWS services (ALB, Beanstalk, EC2, RDS, DynamoDB, WAF, Cloudfront, S3,etc)
- Experience in handling, monitoring, performing backup/restore/test disaster recovery for AWS RDS - Posgres, MSSQL & MYSQL platforms
- Maintain & troubleshoot end to end deployments, perform troubleshooting as per standard operating procedure and prepare RCA for outages.
- Powershell, bash scripting, monitoring & performing maintenance on build servers
- Remote troubleshooting & helpdesk ticketing workflow
- Experience with Datacenter NOC (Network Operations Center), SOC (Security Operations center) Security audits, ISO controls, Infrastructure security monitoring and patch management.
- Handling incident management, problem management, change management as per operating guidelines.
- Perform preventative maintenance tasks, backups and disaster recovery.
- Monitoring metrics for outages (alarm handling & escalations), triaging incidents with respective teams and RCA preparation.
- Perform inventory & cloud billing checks, preventative scheduled maintenance, perform upgrades, security patching & audit checks.
- Handon experience with security & monitoring tools like Nagios, Zabbix, AWS services (Cloudwatch, Cloudtrail, Inspector,WAF), Site24x7, Solarwinds, PRTG, etc
- Preparing sandbox/test environments for performing staging environment checks.
- Excellent softskills for client interaction, report & RCA preparation and articulating recommendations
- Identification and prevention of any potential outages & making recommendations for overall service improvement
