Position: Sterling OMS Senior Developer

Level: Senior Developer

Location: Bangalore / Kochin

Duration: Contract Role, Extendable

Job Description :

• 8 -10 years of experience delivering major Retail IT programs for the business
• A Minimum of Five Plus years of experience designing and implementing IBM Sterling OMS solutions.
• At least two project implementations that exploit the full capabilities (discover, design, implement and optimize) of IBM Sterling OMS is a mandate.
• Experience integrating IBM Sterling OMS with ESB, Kafka confluent and Cloud platforms.
• Administrator-level knowledge using Sterling Order Management components, APIs, related interfaces and configuration.
• Work with quality assurance teams to execute automated testing scenarios to support end-user and performance-based testing.
• Strong Verbal and Written communication skills to work with stakeholders from businesses, vendors, and other external entities.
• Work Independently with almost zero direction is a self-starter with strong initiative and can manage/execute workload to deliver high-quality results.

Mandatory Technical / Functional Skills

• 5+ years experience with Sterling Order Management (OMS) Suite
• 5+ Years of experience in the implementation of eCommerce solutions for multi-channel Retailers
• 5+ Years experience in integrating Sterling Order Management (OMS) Solutions with downstream back-office systems
• 5+ Years experience in integrating eCommerce Solutions with Business Partners with various communications protocols (REST, WSDLs, Gateways, APIs and others relevant to the profile)
• 5+ Years experience in presenting to Customer Management / Stakeholders
• Experience in eCommerce websites or other Internet transactional applications development and its associated methodologies, including back end development and the UI layer.
• Expertise in integration to external applications
• Knowledge and Hands-on Experience in Service Oriented Architecture (SOA), Enterprise Service Bus (ESB), and Object-Oriented Analysis
• To be a strategic thinker to help development/architect teams for strategies and tactics that produce a fast turnaround.

Roles and responsibilities

• Design and develop e-commerce systems for fulfilment in Sterling Order Management (OMS), with a complete understanding of various modules of Sterling OMS
• Build, unit test and review code and configuration of the Sterling MCF productConduct POC as required
• Diagnose issues that could adversely impact any functional capabilities of deployed commerce solutions
• Bring in Scalability and Agility in the e-commerce solutions in deployment.
• Analysis and suggest optimization of the commerce solution on a whole
• Understand, sustain Web technologies for development with Java, J2EE, HTML, JAVAScript, JQuery, Dojo and Rest APIs
• Life cycle implementation expertise and knowledge on IBM DB2 database/SQL

Desirable Technical / Functional Skills

• Work with different teams Business, Solutions Portal and team of Architects to create the overall user interface, Implement solutions with complete considerations on Infrastructure capability, performance, supportability to achieve end-user business results.
