Organisation Development
Provide leadership in development of courses and training methodology to ensure high levels of retention and achievement
Manage a programme of classroom observations within the area and monitor the quality of teaching and learning
Undertake appropriate staff development activities that support personal development and the changing needs of the organisation and its environment
Operational Management
Work with team members to develop schemes of work, lesson plans and other course related documentation
Prepare suitable teaching and learning materials for a range of courses/classes and make use of a range of appropriate delivery methodologies
Financial
Direct and manage the financial responsibility of the Learning & Development division
Involves in budget preparation for the function and effective management of funds
Continuous Improvement
Monitor and review the progress of Learning and development programmes
Attend and nominate employees for national and international seminars and meetings as required to continuously enhance training offerings
Follow all agreed Quality Assurance and Risk Management Systems that are prevalent in the organisation and contribute generally to the establishment and development of a quality provision/service
Expansion
Be aware of, and responsive to, the changing nature of the requirements and the organisational developments and adopt a flexible and proactive approach to work
