We are currently seeking a Sr Cloud Engineer - Data to join our team in Bangalore, Karntaka (IN-KA), India (IN).
. Responsible for working with the team to design, code, and implement new data ingestion functionality, support existing functionality, and support business intelligence analysts data needs.
. Responsible for working within a core team, occasionally interfacing with other technical stakeholders both internally and externally. . . . Responsible for building a robust, sustainable enterprise data lake environment.
. Develop data flows and support day-to-day data ingestion operations while working on projects to enhance functionality, reliability and efficiency of the overall data ingestion processes.
. Recreating existing application logic and functionality in the Azure Data Lake, Data Factory, SQL Database and CDW environment.
. Working with external partners to bring data into the environment.
. Designing and maintaining data flow design and schemas.
. Working with the Data Architect to translate functional specifications into technical specifications.
. Minimum 7+ years of experience in Data Engineering with Cloud Data Warehouse, Big Data Solutions, Data Lake Solutions, Cloud BI solutions at major consulting firm or systems integrator
. Minimum 5+ years of experience in developing, designing and implementing ETL Cloud solutions or migrating on-premise Data environments to any of the major cloud platforms like GCP, AWS or Azure
. CDW like snowflake or equivalent experience
. Minimum 5+ years of experience supporting professional services sales cycle including proposal development, RFP responses, and account expansion initiatives
. Minimum of 5+ Years of prior experience in one or more prominent cloud platforms (Azure, AWS, Google etc)
