Role Summary/Purpose:

The Senior Software Engineer (Embedded) will be responsible for developing software code for Train Performance LOCOTROL Technologies product lines that includes understanding the requirement in User stories, analyse the requirement, design and develop software code in accordance with industry standard and internal coding guidelines, get the code reviewed by experts and align with software release process.

Essential Responsibilities:

In this role you will utilize your experience or expertise to design software, solve code level problems, develop and execute objectives for Self, understand the long-term architecture perspective, debug the defects and provide appropriate fixes, architecture trade-off analysis,

Qualifications/Requirements:

• Bachelors/Masters in ECE /Computer Science /EEE /IT or in "STEM" Majors (Science, Technology, Engineering and Math) from a reputed institute/university, academic performance 
• 6-9 years of work experience working as Embedded Software Engineer
• Locomotive, Aerospace, Automotive,
• Automation domain
• Experience in Embedded Programming (in C, C++) application, components and interfaces
• Minimum 4 years of experience in Linux, RTOS (QNX, VxWorks or similar
