Senior Software Engineer - Hyderabad @ Microsoft

• Design and develop highly scalable, cloud native applications and large scale distributed microservices that powers ever increasing demands of availability, reliability, security, and performance of core tools.
• Stay on top of industry trends, standards from security and scalability perspective to Lead and influence design decisions to build services right ground up.
• Be a part DevOps culture establishing top engineering processes/practices.
• Bring high positive energy that is motivating and infusing optimism.
• Build effective Partnership with partner teams like Program Management.
• Driving code and design reviews and take them closure.
• Collaborate with multiple partner teams, analyse their requirements, prioritize, and drive features to closure with very high quality.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of experience in Software Development with a focus on building scalable services
• 5+ years of experience in building on web technologies and frameworks
• Strong software engineering skills design, development, and testing experience.
• Good knowledge in C#, Java, .NET Framework or comparable programming environment, SQL, Web Development, and test methodologies.
• Familiar with continuous integration, unit and functional testing practices, and continuous deployment systems, DevOps and experience in building systems to record and analyse telemetry
• A solid foundation in computer science, with strong competencies in data structures and algorithms.
• Experience with IAM services like Azure AD, AWS IAM and implementation of Auth A/Z, OpenID, Single Sign-on , MFA etc.

Preferred Qualifications

• Bachelor s or Master s in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field.
• Web API services infrastructure (RESTful API, Swagger), Microservices design, implementation, and maintenance.
• Familiarity with Azure services like storage, networking, Service Fabric, Cosmos DB, Event Hubs (or other cloud providers like AWS). Working experience is a plus.
• High tolerance to ambiguity and ability make progress when situations are in flux
• Cloud operation experience, cloud native mindset, including performance, reliability, resilience and scale-out.
• Front end skills like Angular , react , HTML/CSS, Javascript/Jquery , Ajax is an added advantage.
