Direct Walk-in for Software Testing profile Date- 12th Nov-15th Nov'19
Timings- 9:30 am to 12:30 pm
Education Criteria- B.Tech, BCA+MCA, B.Sc+MCA (Education should be regular with 60% throughout)
Designation: Software Tester/Quality Analyst
Experience - 2-5 Years

- Understand product, requirements & translate into automation test cases & test suites.
- Identify & automate manual test cases (all critical & major test scenarios and achieve high coverage of automation in the builds)
- Create & maintain automation test framework.
- Execute & maintain automation test cases, log defects and understand defect cycle.
- Create and modify test data.
- Troubleshoot, debug and resolve automation issues.
- Perform web services testing using SOAP UI.
- Suggest improvements to product from end user standpoint (usability testing)
- Communicate with test lead and test manager for status reporting. Publish automation report periodically.
- Communicate with BAs to understand requirement.
- Conduct peer reviews on test documentation and provide feedbacks & valuable inputs.

- Support UAT testing activities.
- Communicate with test lead and test manager for status reporting.
- Provide suggestions, feedbacks, innovative ideas & share within & across teams.
- Experience with reviewing requirements and developing automation test cases based on those requirements.
- Whitebox testing experience at the unit, integration and system levels.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills are a must.
- Must be able to multitask and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Attention to detail and strong problem-solving skills are critical.
- The ability to work as a team player is essential.
- Initiative and the ability to work with minimal guidance.
- Should have been in the Automation Tester role for last 1 years or more.
- Should be an expert in working & creating scripts using Telrik Automation (preferred), QTP or any other functional testing tool.
- Strong development experience is a must. Should have development experience using C# (C Sharp), Java, VBscript, Javascript.
- Should be able to design and maintain automation test framework.
- Should be capable of converting functional test cases into automated test scripts.
- Should be well versed with running and maintaining automation regression suites.
- Should have documentation skills - test scenario preparation, test case preparation & test data preparation.
- Experience in banking and / or insurance domain will be preferred.
- Should have working experience (hands on) in automating the manual test cases (recording & scripting).
- Should have understanding of agile methodology.
- Should have excellent communication skills (verbal & written)
- Should have an eye and passion for quality.
- Should have passion for learning.
- Should possess good knowledge of database concepts w.r.t. testing (DML commands)
- Should have knowledge to write SQL queries and statements.
- Should have knowledge of SOA (Service Oriented Architecture), web services, XML, wsdl & SOAP UI w.r.t. testing and automation.
