Job Description

Boutique owners operate specialty retail stores that generally sell clothing and accessories. Most boutique owners leverage a background in fashion, retail, or customer service to become entrepreneurs. Boutique owners work with suppliers and wholesalers to make decisions about stock and pricing while delivering excellent customer service.

This role offers a lot of freedom and flexibility, since boutique owners ultimately decide what to stock and how to run their stores; however, it also comes with many responsibilities, as boutique owners need to manage the daily operations of their spaces as well as the administrative and financial tasks that help the boutique remain financially viable.
