Job Description
As the Hyperion EPM System Engineer, you will partner with other FinTech leaders to perform systems analysis and implement systems changes across FinTech systems. You will be responsible for the overall metrics and business impact of your programs. Your performance is measured by the impact of the projects you launch seamlessly and by your ability to influence and encourage an impactful multi-functional team that includes Product, Engineering, Accounting, Finance, and Operations.
What You Will Do
- Support DRM Enhancements in crafting master data solutions using DRM release 11.2.X
- Work on Master data maintenance & security functionality in HFM & DRM
- Work with the Business team to build hierarchies, properties & action scripts in DRM
- Build derived properties and manage dynamic java scripts
- Build dynamic / self-maintained reports (auto-Calc, conditional formatting, etc.), Build books and schedule execution, etc
- Manage and administer Data Relationship Management (DRM) tasks and activities including designing and developing workflow tasks
- Write specifications for programs, enhancements, forms, and reports.
- Collaborate with IT peers to develop technical solutions, document solutions, test solutions, identify and document technical defects and drive resolution.
- Participates in, and may lead, multi-functional system implementation projects.
- Supports the monthly financial process by proactively monitoring task completion, system outages, and user updates and by assisting users on an ad hoc basis
- Support SOX testing requirements for systems that directly support internal reporting
- Leads rapid prototyping of system enhancements.
What You Will Need
- 4 Plus years of experience in HFM & DRM
- Experience in crafting hierarchies, creating properties, exports, validations, and action scripts in DRM
- Extensive Knowledge of DRM
- Experience in hands-on implementation and support of Oracle DRM / DRG will be a plus
- Crafting Data Relationship Governance (DRG) model for data stewards to manage all Finance Dimensions
- Experience in developing formulas for crafting derived properties and managing dynamic scripts using JavaScript
- Managing and coordinating Data Relationship Management (DRM) tasks and activities including designing and developing workflow tasks
- Experience in defining and setting up user access groups, developing automation routines, and performing code migration and release management activities.
- Skilled in Security functionality of HFM, maintaining user groups provisioning and security class access controls
- Experience to build and modify reports and create complex reports for business users.
- Knowledge of IT Change Management processes and standard methodologies
- Proficient in working with the development team and delivering to business users.
