Requirements
- 2+ years of relevant consulting, industry, or technology experience.
- Bachelor-level degree in engineering, IT, data communications, telecommunications, computer science, or equivalent professional experience and/or qualifications
- Experience working with Jenkins, Git and Other CI/CD tools and pipelines
- Deep knowledge of automation scripts and tools: Bash, Chef, Terraform, Ansible,
and CloudFormation
- Experience with monitoring tools such as DataDog, Splunk
- Experience building and maintaining large-scale infrastructure in AWS
- Experience leveraging one or more coding languages for automation
- Experience in writing Python code to work around Amazon web services (AWS)
and REST or other APIs
- Knowledge of Python-related frameworks like a flask, Django, etc.
- Understand cloud security for access identify management to security groups
- Understand how to deploy multi-tier applications across a custom defined virtual private cloud
- Knowledge on how to set up multilevel network environments with any of the CSPs
- Knowledge on how to design scalable, secure, reliable, and efficient technical cloud
ecosystems to support enterprise applications
- Knowledge of how to set up and use different database types: Oracle, MS-SQL, MySQL,
PostgreSQL, ElastiCache etc.
- Experience with Application Programming Interface (API) and gateway functions: cloud function and API gateway (or equivalent)
- Experience in implementing container solutions such as ECS and EKS.
- Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills
- Strong communicator
Skills desired
- AWS certificationassociate/professional solution architect
- Experience in Linux and/or Windows-based OS, including virtual machines: Amazon Linux,
RHEL, Ubuntu, CentOS, SUSE, or Windows Server
- Experience with cloud automation and container tools: Terraform, Bash scripting, Ansible,
Docker, Chef, or Puppet
- Experience with VMware products (i.e., vRealize)
- Working knowledge of Information Technology Infrastructure Library (ITIL) and/or agile
methodologies
- Experience in Container Design and Deployment
- Implement best practices to govern and maintain the Cloud Infrastructure and
providing high level support in resolving the issues on Cloud services.
- Experience in implementing Cloud Optimization strategies for reduced costs.
