Responsibilities :
Work closely with peer engineers from engineering, security, and compliance teams to identify and provide strategic solutions for compliance and application feature gaps.
Provide technical leadership and guidance to the organization
Responsible for technology delivery.
Hire and mentor team members to build core competencies in architecture, standards development, and recommended practices.
Required Skills:
BS or higher degree in Computer Science or equivalent.
3+ years of experience in managing, mentoring, and leading software engineering teams
5 years of hands-on software development experience
Excellent software project management skills
Understanding of JVM and Java web technologies.
Experience with AWS, GCP, or other public cloud infrastructures.
Experience with continuous integration platforms such as Jenkins, Spinnaker, Gitlab CI, etc.
Experience with microservices design and implementation.
You re collaborative and team-oriented, willing and able to support a growing and dynamic development team.
Innovator with good ideas, strong problem-solving abilities, and a results-oriented attitude.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Desired Skills:
Experience with secret management tooling such as Vault, AWS Secrets Manager, or Azure Key Vault.
Experience with cryptography primitives, authentication such as Single-Sign On, OpenID Connect/OAuth.
Understanding of CDN (Akamai, Fastly, Cloudflare, etc.) and caching technologies (ElasticCache, Redis, Varnish, etc.).
Experience with repository/artifact management (Artifactory, Nexus, etc.).
Understanding of web servers (Apache/Nginx).
Experience working on large-scale distribution systems where solutions must work for thousands of nodes.
