Software Engineer II - Kolkata - Cerner - 3 to

Cerner is excited to hire a Software Engineer II. As a Software Engineer II, you are responsible for making enhancements to existing software with minimal direction. You will participate in code reviews and identify moderate issues or deviations from best practices. You have to collaborate on component-level technical designs. The role requires you to own and assist others in debugging and documenting root cause analysis and resolution. You will identify process improvements at the team level to support operations and the development ecosystem and provide software release support. You are also responsible for mentoring and training new associates within the team and training programs.

Qualifications

Basic Qualifications:

• At least 5 years of total combined related work experience and completed higher education, including:
  • At least 1 year of Project/program management work experience .
  • At least 4 years of additional work experience directly related to the duties of the job and/or completed higher education, including:
    • Bachelor s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Software Engineering, Information Systems, Information Technology, Computer Information Systems or equivalent relevant work experience.

• At least 3 to 4 years of work experience in Software Development.
• At least 2 years of work experience in the following technologies: ROR, ReactJS/Javascript, HTML, CSS
