Job Description
- Active participation in testing cycle of the software development lifecycle (requirements gathering, prototyping, design review, test case reviews) using Agile Methodology.
- Working closely with Product Management, Program Manager, Development Team and Support teams to create and deliver a quality-focused QA deliverable.
- Develop & execute functional test cases to validate business, system and operational requirements.
- Perform ad-hoc, automated, and manual testing.
- Design both Manual and Automation Tests to simplify testing and integration workflows, including different layers UI, API, Database.
- Problem solving, troubleshooting, strategic skill sets.
- Experience in API Testing tools like SOAP UI, Postman is preferred.
- Analyses of Requirements and Specification, identify gaps and provide feedback.
- Test Case / Test Case Scenarios designs / writing skills based on product and system specifications (User and Technical Specifications).
- Identifying test gaps, perform root cause analysis & close loop with Dev Engineers.
- Experience in web automation test tools like Selenium Web Driver.
- Design/Analyze/Debug Java or C# code.
- Identify, analyzing, and documenting defects discovered during testing.
- Triage and debug test failures, including automation failures.
- Team Player with a positive attitude towards learning new things and proactively taking up tasks.
- A plus if experienced with:
- SQL
