Company's Product Line: product line includes complete assembly lines for rotor, stator, battery, fuel cell, engine, and transmission assembly as well as machining centers, flexible manufacturing systems, transfer machines, ancillary assembly machines, leak test machines, gantries, and automation.
1.JD OF WELDING ENGINEERS:
The primary job function of the Welding Engineer will support production welding processes by providing knowledge on industry best practices, and a keen eye for continuous improvement. This position will also be responsible for the start-up and debug of machine tool equipment.
Roles & Responsibilities:
Provide welding engineering support to production
Develop and implement advanced welding processes including Laser, MIG/TIG, Orbital and Braze.
Provide innovative, technically significant and economically important material and welding solutions in
support of manufacturing and design
Analyze machine vision inspection results and adjust laser controller parameters
PLC programming and troubleshooting
NC programming and troubleshooting
Education & Experience Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Manufacturing, Metallurgical Engineering, Material Science or equivalent is
required OR equivalent work experience
PLC or CNC programming experience (Siemens, Allen-Bradley, Rockwell, or Fanuc 30i CNC knowledge
preferred)
Minimum 3 years engineering experience
Knowledge of electrical design Laser welding experience preferred
Ability to read/interpret blueprints
2. JD OF Camera Specialist
The primary job function of the Camera Specialist will program, simulate, and test automated machinery, including machine vision and image processing with advanced algorithms. Responsible for working with and programming PLCs, automated inspection cameras and vision sensors, lighting, motion control and other aspects of industrial automation. Experience with high speed vision systems, including line-scan technology and/or 3D laser scan imaging systems is required.
Roles & Responsibilities:
Design and architect complex, multi-component machine vision based systems
Generate project PLC and HMI solutions
Evaluation of customer specifications and their impact to GROBs products
Education & Experience Requirements:
Bachelors Degree in Electrical Engineering, Automation Engineering, Computer Engineering or
Computer Science.
At least three years experience building and testing computer vision systems
Knowledge of electrical design
Knowledge of industrial robotics
Knowledge of vision and image processing
Knowledge of line scan and/or 3D laser imaging systems
Siemens PLC knowledge is a plus
General Requirements:
Self-motivated and team player
Excellent oral and written communication skills
Strong math skills and understanding of basic electrical circuits
Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Powerpoint)
Willing to work overtime as needed
Willing to travel domestic and international
Ability to secure and maintain a valid passport
