Job Description
Client of Cygnus Staffing Solutions, a leading Manufacturing Company into Dairy Engineering, which has been taken over by a German Company, looking forSr. Automation Engineer
Responsibilities:
Job Description:
Strong knowledge on AutoCAD / E plan & panel design
Cable sizing & cable list
Cable tray selection and prepare cable tray layout
Instrument selection & validation based on process application
Prepare quotation for electrical, instruments & automation
Programming of Siemens PLCs (S7 400/300/S71500 Series) with distributed IO's (Ex: ET200 S/SP)
SCADA development knowledge (TIA WinCC)
Understand concept of ISA S88 Standard
Responsible for electrical installation, commissioning & troubleshooting at site & handover
Responsible for initial software setup & PLC / SCADA configure communication at site conduct IO testing.
Customer-service attitude with hands on approach on the job is expected
Quick adaptability of various process areas and different software platform is must.
Experience on Brewery / Beverage process industry electrical application design & commissioning would be an added advantage.
Job involves extensive travelling & long duration stay at customer sites
Other Requirements:
1.Should have network experience like Ethernet/TCP/IP, Profibus and MPI
2.Should have comprehensive understanding of technical engineering fundamentals
3.Should have knowledge on troubleshooting PLC control logic circuits.
4.Should have knowledge on basic concepts of Pneumatic Valves, Motors, Analog transmitters and analog outputs.
5.Should be a highly motivated, self-driven person
6.Should have the ability to work in a highly collaborative team environment & exhibit high levels of enthusiasm and drive
7.High levels of MS office skills including MS-Project and other analytical tools
Qualifications:B. Tech / BE / DME in Electrical / Instrumentation / Electronics
