PROJECT MANAGER

Job Description:

Responsible for planning and overseeing projects to ensure they are completed in a timely fashion and within budget. Project managers plan and designate project resources, prepare budgets, monitor progress, and keep stakeholders informed the entire Project lifecycle. He will also responsible for preparing Production Solutions, Preparing Proposals and Business development. This is all done within the confines of a company's goals and vision.

Manage project quotation activities on specific enquiries within a customer team
Evaluate the client's needs and prepare the possible solutions
Prepare a high-level design and provide a concept which meet the customer's expectation
Responsible for technical specifications and getting the prices in, prepare the cost calculation and put together the whole bid document
Determine and define project scope and objectives
Predict resources needed to reach objectives and manage resources in an effective and efficient manner
Prepare budget based on scope of work and resource requirements
Track project costs in order to meet budget
Develop and manage a detailed project schedule and work plan
Provide project updates on a consistent basis to various stakeholders about strategy, adjustments, and progress
Manage contracts with vendors and suppliers by assigning tasks and communicating expected deliverables
Utilize industry best practices, techniques, and standards throughout entire project execution
Monitor progress and make adjustments as needed
Maintain Risk Register and Lesson learnt
Measure project performance to identify areas for improvement
Outstanding negotiator, who can communicate effectively both with colleagues at sales and supply chain, and customers and suppliers.
Able to manage the promises and expectations in a way to bring satisfaction for all parties at the end.
Have a strong technical background both in theory and practice, and a degree level in an Engineering or food related subject.
Have at least 15 years working experience from the food industry. with experience in implementing food processing solutions.
Familiar with the newest technologies of food processing and with the preparation of tenders. This enables you to advice and control the projects in the sales phase.
Have probably previously worked as a process engineer, process design engineer, project engineer, sales engineer or even as a project manager.
Should have proven ability to solve problems creatively
Strong familiarity with project management software tools, methodologies, and best practices
Good experience seeing projects through the full life cycle andhave excellent analytical skills withproven ability to complete projects according to outlined scope, budget, and timeline.

Qualifications : Bachelor's Degree (B.Tech., or B.E., from a reputed Indian University) in Production or Mechanical or Chemical Engineering passed with 65%. MBA / Post graduation is desirable but not mandatory.
Experience : 12 to 20 years
