Roles and Responsibilities
Essential deliverables and processes include:
NBD Spend monitoring
Review of spend against NBD budget (MTD&YTD) flag up any concerns to MSM/concerned project team.
Identifying spend that is not classified as NBD, out of policy spend, etc and flagging to MSMs.
Knowledge of each MS, key spenders, key areas of spend is required to build up overall knowledge of Market Segment and how they manage/use NBD budgets
Engaging with the Finance /Accounts Payable Team to understand what invoices have hit the code that month and challenging when required.
Coordination on code creation supporting MSMs, other Project Managers and engaging with Finance to set-up new codes
A solid understanding of our Market Segment / SL structure
In-depth understanding of process, policy, and stakeholders
High level of engagement with MSMs hands on stakeholder engagement and open communication. Relationships with all MSMs is key.
Manage UK&I NBD Shared Mailbox responding to all queries within SLA of 1 working day
Manage UK&I NBD SharePoint and updating of process documents, key contacts for SL and MS and other policies
Coordinate with MSMs for Invoices and help follow up until payments are released
Support for reallocation of expenses identified as Non-NBD to appropriate codes.
Financial Tracker updates
Verifying the Financial tracker to ensure the expenses recorded are already accrued
Support in yearend process and collating of Accruals
Effective tracking of codes any changes / additions / deletions of code
On-going maintenance of codes, eg. Code owner review
Budget reviews and analysis
Understanding of Market Segment accounts structure / activities and how NBD budgets are allocated for each Market Segment / and business development activities
Functional consultant on all Budget related queries.
Spending patterns identify any anomalies proactively and work with MSM or concerned team to address/resolve
Supporting Central Market Operations team in tracking spend against monthly budget
Develop dashboard showing expense forecast until the last month of a fiscal year based on actual spend value of the current period and prior year run rates

Requirements (including experience, skills and additional qualifications)
Experience and qualifications:
Graduate / Post-graduate- (BusinessAdministration, Finance, Information and Data Science)
with 4 to 8 years work experience infinancial services industry having exposure to business process management (BPM), consulting, research and/or some corporate strategy.
Mandatory skills & attributes:
Project coordination Capable of engaging effectively with multiple stakeholders, understanding the objectives of their programs/initiatives
Project Management Intermediate knowledge of Project Management concepts and tools
Presentation and facilitation skills - Ability to drive meetings, build presentations that interpret the data, creating valuable business insights and delivering the message to the stakeholders
Work under minimal direction/supervision - Be accountable for projects assigned, take complete ownership and drive projects end to end
Experience in coaching and mentoring junior team members
Business acumen and Adaptability Capable of quickly understanding the needs of the business and be able to align with changing customer expectations
Quick learner - Ability to grasp or quickly understand the process, objectives / intricacies of projects and move to delivery mode in a short span
Process improvement Identify opportunities to optimise the process for quicker TATs, better quality, more insights etc
Attention to detail - Utmost importance to numbers, formatting etc
Multi-tasking capability - Effective time management and prioritization
Excellent Communication - Listening, reading, writing & speaking skills
Experience working with Business leaders/leadership groups
MS Office skills:Advanced level experience in Excel reporting & PowerPoint.
o Minimum Expectation :
Excel Pivot tables, look ups, filtering, conditional formatting, validation etc.
PPT insert graphs/shapes, alignment, text justification, text margins etc.
Knowledge of Power BI , Alteryx , Tableau will be an added advantage
