RoleDescription:-
This role is for an Custom Application Developer in Servicenow for Adaptive Management Services (AMS) & Advisory and & Professional Services.
Identified developer will work in areas of IT Service Management development within the ITIL framework.
Essential Skillset:-
- Have a passion for Programming and problem solving
- Deep knowledge on Object Oriented Programming Concepts (OOPS) and Object Oriented Design Principles
- Excellent coder using Java, JavaScripts, Angular JS, HTML, CSS
- Well versed with data exchange formats like JSON, XML
- Should have working experience on building and designing custom applications in servicenow as per custom needs.
- Working knowledge on coding and packaging the custom application in servicenow
- Should have knowledge on managing version control and managing multiple development on custom application at same time.
- Should have knowledge on how custom application framework works and how it will work in single tenant and multi-tenant.
- Coding knowledge in Servicenow.
- Knowledge on Domain separation.
- Should know how to write business rule, Script includes, Email Notifications,
- Have knowledge on Server side and client side scripting in Servicenow.
- Have knowledge on workflow build or modify workflows based on client requirements.
- Knowledge on Incident, Change, Requests, Catalogs, Tasks
- Knowledge on building Catalogs, variable sets, Client scripts, UI Policies, UI Actions, ACL.
- Debugging skill along with coding skills is very important
- Well aware of the importance and techniques of writing unit testable code
- Prior knowledge of ITIL process will be an added advantage
You will have deep insights to customer requirements, business needs and we have expectations of the candidate to be a-
- Will work with a team of highly skilled developers and excellent mentors
- Core responsibility will be to write clean, efficient, unit-testable code with minimal support needed
- Will adhere to the coding and review practices laid down by the team
- Equally responsible for the quality and timeliness of the modules you are working on
- Expected to document the pseudo code as applicable w.r.t the templates.
- Display keen interest in the latest technologies and share that knowledge with peers and managers.
- Great organization skills to prioritize, follow up, deliver, and communicate status of assigned actions.
