Job Description
Position Title: Associate / Sr. Associate
Experience: 1-4 years of Experience in Actuarial Department
Location: Andheri East
Qualification:Graduate or Post-graduate with 1 to 4 of CM / CS / CB / CP level passes / exemptions from the Institute of Actuaries of India or the Institute and Faculty of Actuaries, UK.
Role: Pricing / Group Pricing / Statutory Valuation / Shareholder Reporting / Modelling / Experience Analysis / Research
Key Responsibilities:
- Development of new products and features
- Product pricing and strategy
- Statutory Valuation as per extant Regulations using Prophet models
- Generating pricing quotations for group business
- Shareholder reporting EV calculation using Prophet models
- Maintenance of existing Prophet models, DCS Code and developing further as per requirement
- Responsible for compliance with various statutory / procedure requirements and monitoring performance on quality parameters by generating MIS Reports.
The role would involve working closely with the Marketing / Product Development / Operations / Finance / Planning & Budgetary Control.
Critical competencies:
- Good analytical and numerical skills.
- Good Communication skills
- Preferable: Knowledge of relevant regulations, Prophet and DCS, MS-Excel including VBA, MS Access; Documentation and report preparation skills.
