The successful candidate will have experience of providing technical support to a wide range of CAD & Engineering Software Applications.

The portfolio is extensive.

 The successful candidate will need as a minimum to demonstrate experience with Autodesk and Bentley products. It is desirable that they also have experience in the broad application space supporting CAD and engineering analysis.

Our infrastructure and network services are provided by a third-party supplier and collaborative problem solving is a must. An understanding of the relationship between application performance and the underlying infrastructure is essential.
The successful candidate should have experience of working in a highly collaborative environment ideally within an IT organisation although we will consider applications from individuals who have experience in project delivery CAD coordination or BIM management roles.

Candidates will have an understanding of formal Incident Management process and delivery to Service Level Agreements. The successful candidate will be organised, an excellent communicator and able to deal with businesses delivering to high-pressure client deadlines. 

A typical week could include:
 
Meeting customer expectations through resolving incidents within Service Level Agreements
Customer communication through all stages of problem resolution
Documenting solutions for repeated issues in the Knowledgebase
Documenting fix scripts for first-line support teams
Ad hoc technical and administrative tasks related to the portfolio

Experience in supporting Autodesk and Bentley toolsets
Experience in supporting a wide range of engineering applications
Exposure to a variety of application licensing platforms
Work in collaboration with customers to fix their technical issues.
An organised and methodical mindset
A logical approach to problem-solving
Exceptional customer service attitude
The ability to self-prioritise and manage customer expectations
Experience of IT service delivery workflows e.g. ITIL
Experience in support work management systems e.g. ServiceNow
Experience of working with 3rd party software suppliers
