Job Description

Coordinate with OEM teams to arrive at Root Cause Analysis report on reported major incidents for in-scope applications

Review of monitoring coverage of APM tools and ensure adequate coverage

Review and rationalise alert threshold, tolerance levels on continuous basis in close coordination with respective application teams to ensure that clear and actionable alerts are generated

Conduct periodic Performance Improvement Plan review for in-scope applications with respective application stake holders for long term application health improvement, facilitate capacity forecasting, suggest architectural improvement changes etc.

Work with Application teams for LIVE/UAT rollouts and ensure monitoring of change behaviour post changes

Co-ordinate with Application team/OEM/ APM Vendor team to obtain solutions to chronic problems

Primary skills :

Knowledge of Appdynamic, Dynatrace, Appnomic monitoring tools

Knowledge of performance management scripts, reading of code / method / stack

Banking Domain knowledge

Understanding of IT performance measurement key indicators and understanding of event correlation

Technical skills :

Technical script writing

Understanding of code, method, program stack

Monitoring performance parameters

Knowledge of Application monitoring tools like Appdynamic, Dynatrace, Appnomic, Splunk etc. (Professional Certifications on Appdynamics and Dynatrace is a must)

Soft skill : Good Interpersonal communication & presentation skills
