Job Description
Aditya Birla New Age is seeking an experienced IT manager who can join us on this journey, using his or her technological skills to make us more efficient. In this role, you will analyze our current systems and assets, recommend and implement solutions and upgrades, and provide training. Our ideal candidate has extensive knowledge of network maintenance, software/hardware & server/troubleshooting experience managing staff, and advanced industry knowledge to keep us on the cutting edge. From day one, you'll have an immediate impact on the day-to-day efficiency of our IT operations, and an ongoing impact on our overall growth.
- Support
- To implement and ensure maintenance of technology initiatives at ABNA.
- To ensure successful operation of the support system by queries being resolved within the set timelines.
- To implement ways to increase internal client satisfaction and deepen client relationships.
- To interact with internal clients on all levels to help resolve IT-related issues and provide answers promptly.
- Planning & Implementation
- To recommend strategic initiatives; implement support of IT systems, plan and implement the required architecture of IT systems when required.
- Coordinate application development, needed for automation of IT Systems
- To play a vital role, while hardware procurements, to benefit-cost.
- To recommend and implement new computing technologies while assessing the feasibility of system enhancements to determine the potential value for the company.
- To recommend and implement improvements in all areas of IT responsibility.
- To assist in planning and implementation of additions, deletions, and major modifications to the supporting infrastructure company-wide in coordination with corporate leadership.
- Responsible for defining and procuring the IT requirements, critical for the realization of business objectives.
- To accomplish financial objectives by forecasting requirements; preparing an annual budget; scheduling expenditures; initiating corrective action.
- Asset Management
- To manage orders, procurement, inventorying, and disposition of hardware and software
- To ensure that company assets are maintained responsibly.
- Responsible for effective usage and care of IT hardware and software.
- To build and maintain vendor relationships and manage the purchase of hardware and software products, through the procurement team.
- To ensure that the company has no Non Compliance issues related to Licensing
- Data Security
- To maintain security and privacy of the information systems, communication lines, and equipment.
- To preserve data by implementing recovery and backup procedures.
- To implement network security at all assigned locations of Business, by the management.
- IT Policies
- To assist in developing guidelines, standards, and procedures.
- To comply with and implement standard policies and procedures.
- To ensure new operations plans, policies, and procedures, are consistent with the overall company objectives.
- To assist in updating the policies & procedures so that they evolve with the company.
- To recommend information technology policies, and procedures by evaluating organization outcomes; identifying problems; evaluating trends; anticipating requirements.
