Job Description
Roles and Responsibilities
- The successful candidate will maintain the infrastructure (hosted on AWS) running the backend software services that power the company's client applications and the company's bigdata collection and analysis programs.
- You should be fully motivated to maintain and be part of an in-house built massive IT system that processes millions of news and social media posts every day, and work in a like-minded team that is constantly thinking of how to implement the best and modern technology architecture to power the company's products.
- You will be required to understand how the APIs and webservices developed in-house integrate with the company's systems and products. You should be comfortable troubleshooting API integration issues by working with developer colleagues.
- You will be required to maintain and be comfortable managing several cloud based systems like DynamoDB, RDS, message queues, PUSH messaging, asynchronous communications, web sockets to mention a few.
- You should be comfortable and hands-on with commands used to operate Linux based systems.
- While we do offer training and guidance to some extent, the ideal candidate will already have experience in all this or will be a fast learner of new technologies.
- The company is a successful start-up business with clients ranging from top government organisations to multinational companies. The candidate should be comfortable to work in an organization that doesn't have hierarchies, standard operating procedures, and work in small teams.
Desired Candidate Profile
- 1 - 3 years of experience with cloud platforms. If you don't have any experience, you should supplement your application with a credible certification on cloud platforms or other IT systems.
- Problem-solving and troubleshooting skills and required!
- Academic qualification in areas like Computer Science / IT or related fields are preferred.
- Candidates should be academically confident in their respective disciplines.
- You should also have good verbal and written communication skills and be a team player with good brainstorming and conceptualization capabilities.
- You should be able to join us within 1 month from the date of receiving the offer letter.
Salary
2 lakhs - 4 lakhs per annum depending on the experience and performance during interview.
Place of work
The role is based out of our Madeenaguda office in Hyderabad, India.
Work hours
Monday to Friday, 9AM to 6PM
