Senior Software Engineer CDP @ Walmart

Develop interactive, user-friendly applications using the latest frameworks which are open source and proprietary.

Contribute to design and code review tasks.

Required Experience/Skills: Mandatory

Bachelors or Master s degree in Computer Science or related technical field

6 to 10 years of total experience in developing Enterprise scale applications

Strong hands-on coding experience in Java or Python

Strong computer science fundamentals: Data Structures, Algorithms,

Design Patterns

Strong experience in building API s using Spring Boot

Strong experience in building Distributed Systems using

Microservices architecture

Strong experience in Architecture and Design for building enterprise

scale product with focus on scalability, low-latency, and fault-

tolerance.

Expertise in writing complex, highly-optimised SQL queries across

large data sets

2-3 years of working experience in GCP/Azure/AWS cloud platforms

Experience of working in Docker and Jenkins

Must be able to work effectively in a team setting as well as individually.

Ability to communicate and collaborate with external teams and stakeholders.

Must have growth mindset to learn and contribute across different modules or services.

Desirable

Big data development experience for large enterprise

Knowledge of Open Source Tools - Kubernetes, Kafka, Elastic

Search, Kibana, AI/ML exposure and React UI are preferable

Experience in building streaming pipeline using spark streaming,

Kafka/event hub or similar.

Experience to develop, implement and tune distributed data

processing pipelines that process large volume of data

Good to have experience in Data Governance/Engineering
