Software Engineering Sr Mgr - Routing Protocol @ Juniper Networks

Looking for an experienced Senior Software Engineering manager with

• 8 or more years of managing software engineers,
• Leading and delivering complex cross functional projects in Routing domain
• Good understanding of Routing technologies - IGPs, MPLS, Segment Routing

This position would be responsible for leading several functional domains in the area of IGP, Segment Routing . Individual contributor Technical leaders with strong Routing technologies would be considered

Responsibilities:

• Managing multiple projects and software releases, including project scoping and planning, assignment of resources, driving and following up per schedules to ensure delivers on time and with quality
• Building and leading a software development team of 14+ brilliant development engineers
• Interfacing with Testing teams and multiple software and hardware functional teams to secure commitment and meet project plans.
• Interfacing with Product Management, Customer account teams to handle customer escalations

Minimum Qualifications:

• Thorough knowledge and bold experiences of end-to-end software development process from requirement analysis to customer support.
• Good understanding of Routing technologies
• Excellent team player with strong product ownership, software engineering process, across-team coordination, problem solving, technical analytical skills.
• Proven hiring, people management and communication skills

Preferred Qualifications:

• Solid understanding of Routing technologies IGPs, MPLS, Segment Routing
• Experience managing projects in the above routing areas
• Hands on experience in any of Routing technologies
• Strong experiences on carrier class router, switch and security device development and networking protocols
• Self-driven, self-motivated, accountable, and able to face challenging pressure
