We have an urgent requirement for Azure Cloud Platform Architect for PWC based at Bangalore India

Position: Azure Cloud Platform Architect

Location: Bangalore (Work from Anywhere)

Experience: 10-16 Y

Notice Period: Immediate -30 Days

Platform Architect (Azure/DevOps): 9 16 years Experience

Roles and Responsibilities

• Guide customers to ensure success in building and migrating applications, software and services following the principles of the Azure Cloud Adoption Framework
• Participate in deep architectural discussions to ensure solutions are designed for successful deployment in the cloud.
• Develop infrastructure, database and networking architecture for highly available, Internet-scale applications
• Define rehost, re-platform and re-architect migration strategies
• Should be able to develop overall strategy for Build & Release management
• Develop architecture of highly scalable, secure, efficient, and resilient systems
• Analyze Requirements and proactively estimate and project the requirements for infrastructure, security and DevOps initiatives
• Mentor, guide, support and inspire the team of talented Cloud/DevOps engineers from both technical and human-perspectives
• Develop PoCs, design & deployment of new cloud-based services for product environments
• Experience with modern deployment mechanisms like Canary and Blue-Green
• Familiarity with working on an Agile/Iterative development framework
• Detail-Oriented and passionate about DevOps, Automation, Data-Driven decisions

Experience required

• Minimum 7+ years relevant experience in Azure DevOps is must
• Hands on experience with AWS Services like vNet, VM, VMSS, Storage, LB, Application Gateway, Key vault, SQL, Docker/Kubernetes, IAM, Azure AD, Azure Monitor, Log Analytics, Function and Logic Apps
• Experience with Infrastructure as Code Tooling Terraform/ARM Template/Bicep
• Hands on skills in scripting or coding with modern languages Python, Powershell scripting
• Experience with Configuration management tooling (Ansible/Chef, Puppet and Packer are good to have.)
• Having knowledge and understanding of Security controls in Azure would be a plus
• Strong Docker and Kubernetes skills
• Some experience with windows or unix administration
• Experience with Continuous Integration and Continuous Deployment Pipelines and tooling (Azure Devops, GitLab, Jenkins, Github, Jira, or related)
• Should be able to propose new solutions for CI/CD implementation
• Experience with cloud migration technologies such as Azure Migrate, and other third party Migration tools
• Proven experience with homogeneous and heterogeneous database migrations from on-prem to Azure
