Job Description
As a Senior Software Engineer/Tech Lead of Payment Core team at Sinch you lead design and implementation work for Payment components within Financial Platform, acts as tech mentor and coordinator for others working on those components.
Key competences include strong organization skills, attention to detail, ability to drive multiple tasks, ability to analyze and present complex matters in a clear manner and to build trust with internal stakeholders.
Roles and Responsibilities
* This role is a mixture of both hands on coding and team lead responsibilities.
* Drive a culture of high quality software, on time delivery and innovation
* Keep management apprised of development progress, risks, corrective actions
and recommended changes to execution tactics
* Work in an agile, cross functional team taking responsibility for the team
deliverables and quality.
* Support and participate in teams effort in analysis of requirements and design
of solutions. Coordinate and clarify business requirements with the broader
organization.
* You are expected to educate the team on new technologies, automated testing
and documentation and feel proud about the team achievements
* Foster a culture of using best practices for software engineering, from
requirements engineering to continuous deployment
Desired Candidate Profile
* Bachelor in Computer Science degree or equivalent
* At least 3 years experience from leading roles in successful software
engineering organizations and 10 years' experience in working within the
Software development lifecycle.
* Understands the Agile Lean Kanban and Scrum processes in-depth
* Solid understanding of current best practices in software engineering field,
from requirements engineering to continuous deployment
* Detailed understanding of large scale transactional systems design.
* Builds motivated and focused teams that take pride in delivery of quality
software
* Expertise across a wide range of technologies such as
Transactional systems using Java, Spring, Redis and MySQL.
Web applications using JavaScript, Typescript, React, GraphQL.
REST-based HTTP APIs.
Automation of build, test and deployments done using Git, Docker, Maven,
Gitlab, Rundeck and Kubernetes.

Youll stand out from the crowd if you have:
* Experience in messaging and/or telecom technologies
* Experience in Finance domain building billing and payment applications.
