Job Description
Responsibilities
- Review software requirements and functional Specs to develop test strategies, test plans, and test specs Plan, design, and develop test automation strategies for testing multi-tenant product feature along with the scrum team
- Create/Manage automation development and test execution Communicate test progress, test results, test gaps, and other relevant information to stakeholders Prioritize and triage urgent issues as necessary
- Own the end to end quality of the product features Identify the failures and root causes of issues to ensure the delivery of a high-quality product to customers
- Participate in continuous delivery and deployment, take ownership, and strive to become a better problem solver Assist in defining the Definition of Done, and help to achieve the release quality criteria for the product/feature Influence feature design with a strong focus on testability among the development team Enforce high-quality standards.
Requirements
- 3+ years experience in software test development (Java) and automation 3+ years of working experience in test/automation of multi-tenant applications for functional, system, and security
- Strong working experience in SaaS-based microservices deployment and upgrade/rollback Scale and Performance testing experience is highly desired in a multi-cloud environment Familiar with J2EE standard APIs, java-based tools, and frameworks
- Experience in developing test automation for REST-based web services Knowledge and hands-on experience with test automation framework development preferably using TestNG/PyUnit, Jmeter, Selenium
- Expertise with Java, plus Python or any scripting language Experience in continuous delivery of micro-services with test automation in a CI/CD infrastructure - Jenkins, Bamboo, Travis, GitLab-ci
- Working experience in git-based repository GitLab or GitHub Working knowledge with one or more cloud infrastructure - AWS preferred
- Experience in testing distributed systems/microservices-based deployment, SaaS experience highly preferred Experience with code coverage tools Jacoco, Sonarqube, Nessus, and other security tools for static/dynamic analysis is highly desired.
- Must be a self-starter who is highly organized, hands-on, and a team player BE/B.Tech in Computer Science or related technical field or equivalent practical experience
