Software Engineer /Senior Software Engineer @ Taazaa

ROLE:

Own the technical execution of one or more cutting-edge web products. Champion the use of best practices - agile, versioning, tool usage. Mentor and bring out the best in a talented engineering team. Work closely with product and project managers to plan, coordinate, and deliver according to a high-level product roadmap. Plan and estimates development activities and track them to closure

• Lead and oversee developers through the product design, planning, development, implementation, and product/system test.
• Conduct team meetings with product team and other key project team members to go over schedules and operational milestones.
• Provide functional, design, and code reviews in related areas of expertise with-in team and cross-team.
• Build a highly scalable product right from scratch
• Should be well versed with PHP, HTML, MYSQL, Javascript, Jquery.
• To create own themes based on requirements from HTML scratch
• Understanding of best standards, guidelines etc. and actually cares about adhering to them
• Ability to handle complex problems from design to execution and deliver in time bound manner under constraints.

WHAT MAKES YOU A GOOD FIT FOR THIS ROLE:

• Should have hands on experience in WordPress HOOKS concepts.
• Good exposure in WordPress Hierarchy structure
• Experience building user interfaces for websites and/or web applications.
• Knowledge of Customization of themes plugins
• Knowledge in custom post types, taxonomies, metafields
• Should have good understanding on Search Engine Optimization(SEO).
• Should have worked on Web Analytics tools like GA/Segment/MixPanel etc
• Good to have exposure of google pagespeed/web core vitals/ADA compliance
• Should have experience in web performance optimization
• A lot of passion for problem solving, programming web-development.
