Staff Engineer, AI SW Tools developer (Full) @ Qualcomm

Job Description

• We are seeking ambitious, bright and innovative engineers with experience in Full Stack development Lead for desktop , web or cloud based solutions
• Responsibilities include understanding the different Qualcomm AI SW platforms and tools, build prototypes and develop solutions
• Consult with architecture teams and product management to ensure alignment with Qualcomm standards practices
• Candidate should be motivated to learn and incorporate the latest UI/UX design trends with various frameworks, libraries, tools into existing solutions.
• Should be flexible to learn new programming paradigms as needed to develop state of the art tools for Qualcomm AI products.
• Leads, mentors and coaches other engineers of mixed disciplines

Minimum Qualifications

• Bachelors - Computer Science, Bachelors - Engineering, Bachelors - Information Systems

Preferred Qualifications

• 6+ year of experience in developing high performant applications with ElectronJS, AngularJS, React or equivalent frameworks
• Highly Proficient with front-end languages including JavaScript, HTML and CSS.
• Experience with Python (FastAPI/Flask)
• Ability to write clean, modular, reusable code (using design patterns) and experience with unit-test driven approach to development
• User experience design and UX implementation experience on desktop / web / mobile platforms
• Implements tools to improve everything from stability to rendering of UI code
• Should be aware of AWS or other cloud based deployments
• Experience with one or more opensource databases
• Should be aware of gerrit and CI/CD workflows
• Some experience with interactive visualizations libraries like D3Js.
• Knowledge on deep learning frameworks (like Pytorch/Tensorflow) and some experience with ML workflows is expected.
• Excellent communication skills (written and verbal) and team player.
