Assistant Manager / Manager - Service, Maintenance (Oil & Gas)

Job Description:-

1. To plan & execute routine maintenance of all electrical machines & devices leading as a frontline engineer a team of skilled & semiskilled workmen.
2 To carry out diagnostic study and plan suitable repair/maintenance strategy in respect of electrical machines/devices of the power plant. To plan & carry out Residual Life Assessment of the machines, devices, work out the implementation of suitable life & efficiency enhancement plans so that the availability of generating machines could be improved.
3. To evaluate equipment failures and recommend changes to work practices or design as necessary to improve equipment reliability
"4.To guide maintenance team for any emergency work. To assist in planning, execution and procurement activity.

5. To read and interpret electrical drawings, to carry out various activities such as relay setting, relay testing and fault diagnosis from data of numerical protection relays.
6. To carry out maintenance/troubleshooting/ condition monitoring of coal-based thermal power plant as well as 132kV/66kV switchyard.
7. To guide subordinates in the area of safety precautions/procedures for working on electrical equipment of various voltage rating.
8. To be Liaison with the statutory authorities such as electrical inspectorate, lift inspector.
9. To provide direction and training to the subordinates and peers as required. Must have attended training related to power system protection
10. Knowledge of Energy Management system will be an added advantage
11 Knowledge of Energy efficient operation and Mntn. practices
