Threat Analyst 2 - Hyderabad / Secunderabad @ Microsoft

Preferred Skillsets and Experience

• 7+ years of professional experience in cybersecurity related role
• Experience researching and mitigating threats in non-windows platforms Linux, MacOS, Android and or iOS

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills with an eye for detail and the ability to articulate business needs in cross-group and partner scenarios.
• Demonstrated ability to lead diverse teams in complex, evolving analytical missions especially where priorities may shift due to the evolution of threat landscape.
• In-depth security research experience with long running campaigns or attacks, with demonstrated security report or blog publication.
• Demonstrated knowledge of Incident Response methodology and attacker tradecraft.
• Experience working closely with threat intelligence analysts to understand their workflow and analytic problems and turning those into large-scale analytics and repeatable methodologies.

• Demonstrated capability to analyze and coherently present complex threat intelligence information in a meaningful way to drive customer change and prioritize workstreams.
• Experience working with detection creation methodologies across multiple platforms.
• Ability to utilize data on attacker behavior uptake and global impact to prioritize security detection and remediation tasks.
• Functional understanding of common threat analysis models such as the Diamond Model, Cyber Kill Chain, and MITRE ATTCK.
