Senior Software Engineer - RoR, Ruby (REMOTE)

Experience: 3-6 Years

What Youll Do

• Architecting and implementing the solutions we build
• Working with the team, client and project manager to efficiently deliver projects
• Translating business needs to technical solutions and communicating with the client
• Ensuring that good programming practices are followed
• Supporting other engineers growth with your expertise and mentorship
• Taking part in internal initiatives such as performance reviews, technical recruitment, estimation of pre-sale projects

What you bring to the table

• Strong programming skills in Ruby with clear understanding of Object-Oriented and Functional programming
• Experience working with Ruby on Rails framework
• Experience on REST API Programming preferably based on a Microservices Architecture
• Good Understanding of Databases (Postgres) and proficiency in database schema designing & writing efficient SQL Queries.
• Strong troubleshooting skills
• Demonstrable ability to learn new programming languages and frameworks quickly
• Experience with distributed systems with specific focus on security and scalability

Bonus if you have

• Experience with React JS
• Experience with AWS or GCP infrastructure
• Curiosity about new languages, libraries, frameworks
• Contributions to open-source projects
