  • Purchase goods,materials, components, or services in line with specified cost, quality anddelivery targets
  • Act as an interfacebetween suppliers and other relevant departments on purchasing processes andnew projects and activities
  • Monitor and adviseon any issues which present risk or opportunity to the organization
  • Working closelywith indent owners to optimize the requirement and collaborate for successfulrequirement closure
  • Regular meetingwith stakeholders and creating a sense of stakeholder satisfaction by followingall the compliances
  • Monitor markettrends, competitor strategies and market suppliers
  • Provide analysis oncosts, new and existing and review cost reduction activities
  • Prepare reports andupdates as and when required
  • Work closely withothers in the procurement function and review opportunities for continuous improvementand business improvements
  • Negotiatecontracts, improve prices and terms of business with suppliers and reviewopportunities to make business savings utilizing negotiation and procurementbest practice tools and methods
  • Build, maintain andmanage supplier relationships and keep up good communications
  • Ensure that aprofessional and consistent approach is taken in relation to all supplierrelationships
  • Ensure complianceto company guidelines, purchasing policies and procedures during suppliernegotiations and contracts award process
  • Conduct researchfor new components/products and suppliers
  • Compile datarelating to supplier performance to enable evaluation
  • Assess and evaluatesuppliers and contribute to performance reviews to ensure contract compliance
  • Contact suppliersto resolve price, quality, delivery issues

  • You must be Graduate/Postgraduate and Supply Chain related certifications would be an added advantage
  • You bring experience of 7 years - 12 years with good knowledge of purchasing, negotiation, commercial understanding, and cost breakdown. Experience of working closely with suppliers
  • Able to add value, reduce costs and input to business improvements
  • Ability to organize work and deliver on multiple high priorities at the same time, Self-motivation.
  • Presentation skill, strategic thinking, structured communications, Innovative and open to new
  • Able to build and maintain effective and productive relationships with staff, stakeholders and suppliers
  • Good communication, negotiation, interpersonal and influencing skills
  • Analytical, numerically astute with strong demonstrated problem-solving abilities
  • Able to manage time effectively, prioritize tasks and achieve set targets
  • Commercial and financial awareness with a full understanding of how failure impacts the production, manufacture, and customer order fulfilment
  • Able to work well under pressure and handle emergency and stressful situations
  • Keen attention to detail and accuracy
  • Familiarity with an integrated Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) system would be beneficial
