Senior Manager II , Product Management @ Harman Connected

• Complement Digital Cockpit Product Management team to build a strategic Product strategy and Roadmap that will resonate with customer needs. This includes features, timing, competitive assessments, SWOT analysis, and business case

• Drive technology evaluation requests to maximize re-use of assets; identify and define product and feature extensions; translate product vision into actionable plans: break vision into work packages and prioritize under time-to-market considerations

• Create and execute the strategy for developer tools, including developer portal, SDKs, and technical documentation for Harmans Developer Platform.

• Create winning product strategy and build a Developer Platform Ecosystem; Work with our engineering product teams to define needs of developer ecosystem for their respective products

• Conduct research to identify customer needs and market gaps. Interact and coordinate with customer-facing teams to gather and analyze customer requirements. Monitor and measure success metrics of products and features. Analyze competition.

• Share vision and plans with technical and business audiences, i.e. customers (internal and external) and Harman management

• Support/participate on TechDays, exhibitions

• Continuous relationship management to internal and external customers, partners

• Actively communicate deliverables and product increments

• Document, update, and enforce processes

• Market Analysis: market and competition data: HW SW feature sets, USPs

• Innovation: provide proactive and innovative ideas on ways to differentiate our products from competition

Required Skills:

• University degree in Engineering (Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, Physics or equivalent)

• 10 years of experience in Automotive or advanced technology products

• 7+ years of experience in Product Management
